Reviews and Praise
Sun Stallion was a finalist in the 2018 Blazing Lantern Fiction Contest, winning 3rd place among 132 entries. "Her debut novel Sun Stallion" is an entertaining account (straight from the horse's mouth) of the 16th century exploits of the Spanish Conquistadores in Peru. Told from the perspective of one of Pizarro's war horses,... Sun Stallion blossomed into a well-researched work of historical fiction.

Several days ago I finished reading the epic novel Sun Stallion...WOW! It makes one live amazingly in the life of that brave and talented horse and those historical days he described and lived through... better say "survived" through! Breath-taking, terrible and cruel on one hand and amazingly realistic on the other hand. What a lot of detailed research to make the tale coincide with the historic dates and events!

I have just finished your Sun Stallion book, and loved it! What a great story, so compellingly and affectionately told. I enjoyed it all the more because I know Spain, Equador and Peru quite well, and appreciated how you evoked the atmosphere of those places. Congratulations! A wonderful book, lovingly written.
